The Art of Remembrance- A Retrospective of the Holocaust

An exhibition of seven sculptures, by Linda Gissen, will be on display at the Virginia Holocaust Museum. As Ms. Gissen says in her own words, “for many years I have been given both the privilege and awesome responsibility to portray in sculpture the memories and experiences of Holocaust survivors. As an artist, I have attempted to portray in visual form the history, experiences and the emotions of this time and the devastating impact the Holocaust has had and continues to have.”
